VIRTUAL SENIOR SHOW: Sage Alucero
Everyday Art
“Everyday Art” is a collection of sketchbook drawings and mycological photography from 2019-present. I wanted to share some of my less refined works to shift focus onto the smaller ways I engage with art in my everyday life. The practice of keeping a sketchbook has been medicine for my spirit and my emotional self. It adds so much more meaning to my days and encourages me to explore and express my visual ideas. I understand mushrooms to be analogous to my visual art. Just as mushrooms are the fruiting bodies of mycelium, my drawings are the fruit of my mind and heart. I would like to pursue mushroom photography with even more focus and technical skill in the future. If you’d like to stay connected with me and my work feel free to visit SageAlucero.com or find my on Instagram @Alucero777 Thank you and enjoy!
